Tips before Using

When plugging into a wall outlet and touching the metal on the right side, the earthing function of the side whose light does not turn on is working properly. If it is on, press the sliding switch. (Please check again when unplugging from the wall outlet, then re-insert. The earthing function can be changed according to the insertion direction)

Installation and Usage Instruction

	Lay a mat evenly on the bed or the floor.
	Connect the hot water hoses. Fix two hoses that are not wrapped among four hoses deeply into the projecting part on a lower position in the body, push the guide in, and then fasten screws on both sides. Fix the rest of two wrapped hoses into the upper direction of the boiler's projecting part and fasten them in the same way.
	Open the cover of the hot water boiler and pour distilled water (refined water) into it (to open: turn anticlockwise; to close: turn in the clockwise direction).
	Connect the plug into a wall outlet. After pressing the power button, the water level lowers while the distilled water in the water tank is distributed throughout the mat. At this point, you can adjust the amount of water by adding more water in small increments. (When the product is used for the first time, the recommended amount of water is about 1100cc for one person, 1280cc for two persons and water content is considered adequate when the strainer of the water tank is wet.)
	the desired temperature using the temperature adjustment knob on the front side. This temperature setting indicates the hot water temperature of the boiler and there is a difference of about 5-10 degrees between water and mat.
	Use the time setting function. When turned right to set at 00, this means it operates 24 hours a day.
	You may stop the operation at any time by pressing the power button.

Directions

1. The boiler should be set on even ground to ensure stability. Avoid folding the hose connecting the boiler and mat or do not place a heavy object on it to ensure a smooth circulation.
   
2. Do not subject the product to any strong vibration, or avoid dropping it, as doing so may damage the product and lead to faulty operation.
   
3. Please ensure to use distilled water only (refined water) for the ECOPIA Hot Water Mat. (Using other kinds of water can cause clogging in the hose.)
   
4. Do not soak or submerge the product in water.
   
5. Do not use general detergents, including chemicals, when washing the boiler's interior, as this may cause problems with the product.
   
6. Use a dry and lint-free cloth to remove exterior dust only and do not clean the inside of it.
   
7. Never separate or disassemble the product on your own.
   
8. Do not use the product with the cover open as water can get too hot during boiler operation. Keep away from children.
   
9. Please ensure not to damage parts by falling over electrical codes or water hoses.
   
10. Be sure to unplug the electrical cord and close the water cover before moving the boiler.
    
11. Store mats rolled or folded.
    
12. To ensure fire safety, unplug the electrical plug while not in use or when the product is not going to be used for a long time.

Toubleshooting

1. If the power does not turn on
   - Insert the plug properly.
   - If the product stops operating due to overheating, turn it off and restart after about 30 minutes.
   - Check if the fuse is disconnected.
   
2. The mat's temperature does not increase
   - Check if the set temperature is too low.
   - Check if the pump of boiler body is vibrating (if there is no vibration, please call the customer service center)
   
3. If the sound of water circulation is loud
   - When it is used for the first time, the air leaking sound may be loud.
   - Resonance sound decreases only when it is installed closely to the ground, and it is the most ideal to put it on the floor when using a bed.
   - If there is insufficient amount of water, the sound of water circulation can be clearly heard.
   
4. When alarm rings
   E1: temperature sensor error (this error arises due to problems with the boiler sensor. Stop the operation and contact the after-sales service.)
   E2: overheat sensor error (this error occurs when the internal temperature of the boiler sharply increased. Stop the operation and contact the after-sales service.)
   E4: operation of inclination sensor (It can be solved by transferring the product to even ground and by adjusting the temperature or timer when operating the sensor)
   E5: operation of water shortage sensor (It can be solved by providing the product with its own exclusive water supply, or distilled water, and then by adjusting the temperature or timer.)
